The infamous shove-the-conservative-reporter to the ground story has now played out. In a good way. Michael P. Meehan, the aide to Martha Coakley who pushed Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack to the ground, has rendered a sincere apology, which McCormack accepted.
Meehan shouldn’t have pushed McCormack, but did help McCormack back up, and did apologize. I give Meehan an F for impulse control, but an A for class.
