Three dead in Greek protests. What do they protest? According to the Wall Street Journal, it is “a massive protest against recent Greek austerity measures.”
You’ve got to feel sympathy for those who died so that Greek ne’er-do-wells can protest the end of their free ride. But my overall sentiment is well expressed by Radio Free New Jersey:
There is no money. There is no one else’s pocket left to pick. You can’t borrow anymore, you can’t print anymore, and you can’t steal anymore from anyone else. The people who will be paying the bill to keep you from reentering the 15th century are, unlike you, working very hard. They deserve better than you spoiled pampered children are giving them.
I would extend the same sentiments to those idiots who believed that Obama’s election would mean they don’t have to pay their mortgage, etc.
