When he isn’t bowing to foreign princes and potentates, our president says things. Some of those things have a short shelf life; others are merely campaign promises. Which, for Obama, did not stop after he was sworn in as president. Not ever having done anything but promote himself, he appears unaware that to govern is a different kettle of fish than running for office.
While most of what Obama says can be dismissed as idle talk, he sometimes lets slip something that is true. There aren’t that many such, but they reveal the core of the radical re-distributionist that is B. H. Obama. And, among his many, many, words, there are bound to be flubs and, as in the Wizard of Oz, revealing the man behind the curtain.
Ed Morrissey over at Hot Air runs a feature called Obamateurism of the Week. Today we get to vote on our favorite.
My choice is a truth that The One let slip:
“I mean, at a certain point you’ve made enough money.”
And you thought you’d get to make that decision for yourself. Silly boy or girl. That’s not the Socialist Way.
