Won’t Get Fooled Again

Abraham Lincoln said “You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”

Obama was able to fool a sufficiency of “some of the people” in 2008. Many who believed the false description of a moderate, post-partisan leader for all Americans now appear to have buyer’s remorse: the poseur’s approval rating is at a 52-week low of 44%. But, you know those Gallup folks and what Jim Crow racists they are…

The people who were fooled in 2008, will, one may hope, and pray, awaken in time to not repeat one of the worst mistakes in American electoral history.

Hope for change, in 2012.
