The firing of GEN McChrystal for, if not insubordination, then intentional idiocy for letting Rolling Stone into his tent, brings into the light the schizoid nature of the Left’s approval of the “good war.” The Left doesn’t want us to be in any war where we have to kill. Period. They’re afraid of guns, unless those guns are in the hands of communist thugs and are used in the “name of the people.” Then guns are good.
Obama is a child of the Left. He’s basically a Chicago community organizer, an affirmative action president, who is, as McChrystal noted, is intimidated by the military. Obama is not a man of his word, though he is a man of (many) words. Right now, I’ll bet Obama wished with all his might that he hadn’t had to campaign among the sheeple touting our war in Afghanistan as a “good war.”
Tough beans, Barry. You wanted the job, you’ve got it. Now man up and get ‘er done. Without whining like the soft-hands baby you are. Your job is to stop philosophizing and win by killing as many jihadis as we can, then handing over the reins to anyone who is not a jihadi. Should we give a damn if the Afghan people don’t have the same comforts and security as those of use who don’t live in inner cities have?
No. Kill a sufficiency of jihadis to convince the rest to stop terrorizing the country. Leave. In that order. As soon as possible, and let’s hear no more weak talk of “hearts and minds.” We should not attempt to build a nation where there has never been more than a collection of primitive tribes.
