Appearing on CBS’ The Early Show yesterday, the Numinous One demonstrates that, among other things, he can’t speak very well without speech writers and a teleprompter.
The more important thing, however, is that this impostor is either lying or does not know the meaning of the word “demagogue.” From The Hill:
In a CBS interview broadcast Sunday, President Obama slammed approaches to immigration reform he said “demagogue” a “national problem.”
“What we can’t do is allow a patchwork of 50 different states, or cities or localities, where anybody wants to make a name for themselves suddenly says, ‘I’m going to be anti-immigrant, and I’m going to try to see if I can solve the problem ourself.'”
This is classic left-wing attack mode. Demonize, a la Saul Alinsky, your political opponents. Those who wish to uphold federal laws on immigration are not “anti-immigrant.” They are pro-law enforcement, something that this administration is quite selective about. They are anti-amnesty. They are against giving illegal immigrants a free pass forever.
As for that “patchwork” of states and cities, it is telling that the Obamatons did not and likely will not go after so-called “sanctuary cities” that openly welcome illegals and absolutely refuse to enforce existing federal laws on immigration. These are, after all, likely Democrat voters.
These inconvenient facts, and Arizona’s attempt to enforce pre-existing federal law must grate on our Teleprompter-in-Chief, our affirmative action president, who must have a good reason for not releasing his college transcripts. After all, how many of us who have most of our teeth and don’t live in double-wides say something like “I can solve the problem ourself?”
