“My name may not be on the ballot, but our agenda for moving forward is on the ballot, and I need everybody to turn out…”
Obama has increasingly become the president not of the United States, but of blacks, Latinos, unions, and unreconstructed Stalinists. Some of whom are all of the above. Per The Hill,
Obama made the remarks to appeal to African-American voters to show up for Democrats at the polls. The president has made appeals to young voters and Latino voters in recent days in order to try to drive high voter turnout and replicate the coalition that propelled him and congressional Democrats to victory in 2008.
Good luck with that project, Barry. Unfortunately for him, it’s expected to rain in good portions of the Midwest and East next Tuesday.
Sadly for Democrats, their pets melt in the rain, and tend not to vote in less-than-perfect weather. It’s all good, and, if there’s enough of a thumping given to the Dems this election day, Hillary looks better and better as a challenger for the Democrats’ 2012 presidential nomination.
She’s tanned, rested, and ready, and can deploy the best living Democrat politico and the only Democrat to have been elected to two terms since FDR: Bubba, his own self, the Charismatic Groper.
