A privacy law that blocks the release of birth certificates has prompted Hawaii’s Democratic governor to end his efforts to dispel claims that President Obama was born outside of the state, his office said.
According to Fox News, “Hawaii’s privacy laws have long barred the release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who doesn’t have a tangible interest.” Well, of course, doesn’t every American citizen have a “tangible interest” in knowing that the man who was elected to our highest office is actually eligible?
So, Obama and his enablers in Hawaii continue to hide behind a flimsy excuse, given the consequences if it turns out that Obama was not born in the United States.
For the record, I’m not a “birther.” I’m inclined to believe that he was born in Hawaii. I’m just curious as to why, if an actual birth certificate exists, it hasn’t been released by Obama. Only those who are hiding something act this way. Release it, and shut up the birthers, I say. Or don’t release it, and keep us wondering if Obama is our lawful president.
