J is for jobs. In November 2008, president-elect Obama promised he would create 2.5 million jobs by 2011. By October 2010 the economy had shed 3.3 million jobs.
Well, it’s for certain the mainstream media won’t be holding Obama’s feet to this particular fire.
The only dispute I have to Stephens’ A-Z listing is his “Z:”
Z is for zero, which is the likelihood that one of the current GOP hopefuls will defeat Mr. Obama in 2012.
If the economy is still in the doldrums, and if unemployment is anywhere near nine percent, Obama is toast. It almost won’t matter who runs against him.
Almost. Don’t underestimate the ability of the mainstream media to demonize anyone we put up. Always remember William F. Buckley’s advice: nominate the most conservative candidate who can win.
