Same old song

The Arabs have learned much from the Nazis: the Palestinians want their statelet, if it ever exists in the future, to be judenrein. What, Jack, how can you compare our noble Arab and Muslim “friends” to the Nazis?

Easy to do. While lefties in the West routinely claim to support the Palestinian cause, it’s likely for two underlying reasons: the Left loves Jews as victims, but pretty much hates them when they have guns and kick Arab butt. That’s Israel, people: armed to the teeth and, at least in the past, unafraid to use those arms to maintain their sovereignty.

The second reason? The Arabs have for decades allied themselves with anti-American and anti-Western forces. Namely, the Nazis in World War II, and the Soviet Union. With the fall of the Soviet Union, the Arabs, with some exceptions, have given safe haven to anti-American, anti-Western terrorists. This very much includes the Palestinians, whose founder, Yasser Arafat, might be considered the father of modern terrorism.

The current fawning over John Kerry’s new initiatives into the “peace process” simply ignores certain inconvenient facts. One of those is revealed in this quotation from Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas:

In a final resolution, we would not see the presence of a single Israeli — civilian or soldier — on our lands…

Got that? Not “a single Israeli.” Something tells me that they wouldn’t be very keen on having any Jewish immigrants, regardless of nationality. But think of the howling on the Left if Israel upped and declared that there could not be “a single Muslim or Arab” in Israeli territory.

Since Israel is a liberal democracy, with rights for all, that will not happen. So why is it acceptable for any future Palestinian state to be ethnically pure?

I suggest that the United States, once it has recovered from its flirtation with far-Left governance, simply ignore the Palestinians until they agree to allow Israelis to live in peace among them.
