Donald Caeser, or, in his current disguise, President Trump, has issued this statement (via Fox News):
Our great American companies are hereby ordered to immediately start looking for an alternative to China, including bringing … your companies HOME and making your products in the USA…[emphasis added]
I know that Trump had zero military experience. Trump never held elective office. Trump never worked in any government capacity whatsoever. So, despite the notion that “he’s a quick study” one hears from sycophants, Trump apparently does not know jack about the nature of the position he finds himself in.
Keeping it simple, Trump is a civil servant. The highest ranking one, to be certain. But still, he works for the American people. We don’t work for him.
That includes corporations, Donald. This is still America, Donald.
Wake up and stop saying nonsense like “hereby ordered” to entities that you do not own.
